Big Idea:
When we stop doing the simple, protective instructions God gave us, our “experience” can injure us—and everyone around us. This course calls believers (old and new) back to obedience over expertise, using real-life testimony and eight biblical case-studies.
Target Audience:
– Seasoned believers who feel “I’ve got this.”
– New believers who need foundational safety steps.
– Ministry volunteers, leaders, and teachers who set the example.
Course Objectives:
1. Identify at least five biblical examples where skipping basic obedience led to disaster.
2. Explain how “experience creep” can show up in modern Christian living.
3. Practice a personal checklist of spiritual “basics” (Word, prayer, fellowship, obedience).
4. Commit to ongoing accountability that keeps the basics in place.
